About Us
Beech Mountain English Golden Retrievers is a professional breeder of English Golden Retrievers since 2010. We breed English Golden Retrievers with the best pedigrees, temperaments, and excellent health.

We are a small family kennel in Beech Mountain, North Carolina. Beech Mountain is a town in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains that boasts a summit elevation of 5,506 feet above sea level, making it the highest ski resort in the Eastern North America.

Our dogs love running through cool streams and our beautiful large property. They love playing in lots of snow with their best dog friends. Our goal is for our dogs to have the most loving and fun lives while creating future love for families who adopt our cuddly and adorable puppies. We have enjoyed watching our puppies making memories with their new families through Facebook posts.

At Beech Mountain English Golden Retrievers, we are proud to breed the premium puppies that you expect through pure bloodlines of the healthiest and most beautiful English Goldens with the calmest, friendliest, and most loving temperaments! Please see the pedigree and lineage information listed for each of our dogs who are certified with the highest A-rated hips and elbows that will provide many years of making happy and special memories with you.
We owned both American and English Golden Retrievers. Here are a few differences between both Goldens:
- American Goldens typically have a golden-reddish coat; English Goldens have a lighter, cream-colored coat.
-American Goldens are slightly taller; English Goldens are shorter, stockier, and have a broader skull.
-American Goldens have higher energy levels; English Goldens tend to have a calmer temperament and are more laid-back.
-Some breeders suggest English Creams may have better health and longevity. More research is needed. Based upon our own experience, we do believe English Golden Retrievers are healthier and have calmer temperaments.
